The Adair County Fire Department responded Thursday morning at 2:40 a.m. to Timber Lane off of Ky Hwy 551. When firefighters arrived they found a building that is part of Billy Rice’s Body Shop business engulfed in fire. The Body Shop was a total loss along with 3 automobiles and several tools and painting equipment. There were 14 firemen on the scene for about 1.5 hours. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
