Harlan “Buddy” Anderson, 74, of Burkesville, passed away suddenly on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016.
He was born on March 9, 1942 in Cumberland County to the late William Paul Anderson and Georgia Williams Anderson.
He was the owner of J.H. Anderson Logging and attended Stony Point Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Moyers Anderson of Burkesville; one son, Chase Anderson of Burkesville; two brothers, Edward (Drucilla) Anderson and Jackie (Melissa) Anderson all of Burkesville; two sisters, Joyce (E.B.) Groce of Burkesville and Judy (Joe David) Jones of Shepherdsville. A host of other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral service was Sunday, Dec. 4 at Ballou and Stotts Funeral Home with Bro. Jim England officiating with burial in Perkins Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Dustin Anderson, Ricky Anderson, Jeff Pickens, David Page, Larry Flowers and Corey Anderson.
Honorary pallbearers were Hall Abston, Howard Abston, Darrell Thurman, Valion (Slick) Thurman.
