COLUMBIA – Adair County received one vote in the latest Kentucky Softball Coaches Association Poll. The Lady Indians, after notching two victories in as many outings, ended last week 6-7.
After suffering back-to-back losses, Adair County won two straight games last week. The Lady Indians posted a pair of wins via shutout last week, defeating Campbellsville 5-0 and blanking Hart County 7-0.
Adair County entered this week with games on the schedule versus 20th District rivals Taylor County and Marion County.

The Adair County softball team, under the direction of head coach Steve Martin, opened the season strong by winning two of its first three games.
Adair County is slated to play in the R. Fred Capps Annual Tournament at Cumberland County April 26-27.The Lady Indians are due to meet Clinton County, Todd County Central and Russell County during the Cumberland County-hosted tournament.
Adair County was 2-2 in the 20th District at the start of the week.
