Adair County student Makayla Wright and historian Mike Watson were honored recently at a meeting of the Mid-Cumberland Retired Teachers’ Association.
White won a $50 prize for her Grandparent of the Year essay. She was presented the award by interim Adair County Retired Teacher Association President Mark Fudge. Watson received the Volunteer of the Year Award presented by the MCRTA.
