The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Adair and surrounding counties from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. CDT.
Watch for flooded roadways and use caution while driving around water. Emergency personnel have coordinated with county agencies in preparation of the arrival of the remnants of Hurricane Harvey. Expect flash flooding to impact the usual low lying areas and pooling of water is a risk on roadways. Please plan ahead for a flooding risk over the next few days.
Remember to turn around, don’t drown, when roadways are flooded.
