Neal Gold, hospital district board vice chairman and volunteer acting director, will take over as the official administrator and CEO beginning January 1, 2014.
The hospital board voted Monday night to hire Gold at an annual salary of $120,000. He has operated the hospital in a non-paid position since March. He will resign from the board because board members cannot be on paid staff.
