The first day of school is Wednesday, Aug. 14 for Adair County students. Open house for Adair County Elementary School and Adair County Middle School is this evening between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. with a prayer walk closing the open house at 6 p.m.
Students, parents and caregivers will have a chance to meet their teachers and take a tour of the school and classroom.
Freshmen orientation will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. tonight at Adair County High School. All freshmen are encouraged to attend. There will be no open house for the new primary center, but parents are welcome to walk students into the school on Wednesday morning.
