The 2019 Revisit Knifley festival is going to be another great year of fellowship and fun in the beloved community.
“The Knifley community is home or an adopted home for so many,” said one of the event’s coordinators, Debbie Cowan. “Revisit Knifley festival is a great opportunity for old friends to reconnect and reminisce while enjoying a full day of activities and events. It has become a much anticipated and enjoyed event for the community and Adair County.”
The two-day event is taking place Sept. 6-7 at the Emmaus Campground, formerly known as Knifley Grade Center, at 12190 Knifley Rd.
Revisit Knifley is a good time for everyone, with Saturday being packed full of activities that include vendors, live music, food, tractor and car shows, a 5K walk/run, an auction, pageants, the veterans bike ride and recognition and an exhibit of Knifley history.
Free children’s activities such as face painting, rides and games are available from 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. and the day ends with a fireworks show at dark.
Friday night includes a gospel singing by the Blakey Quartet and Through the Fire at 6 p.m.
All events are central time and for more information, visit Revisit Knifley Facebook page or call 270-469-0376.
