Since 1974, the Ronald McDonald Houses of KY have been serving our communities and our families. Now, once again, we have the chance to give back. The Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a donation drive to collect needed items from assorted breakfast cereals to paper products and many things in between for the Ronald McDonald Houses in Lexington and Louisville.
The drop off date is Wednesday, March 20, 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. behind the Chamber of Commerce building located at 201 Burkesville Street. The Ronald McDonald House has made a difference for so many families…now your family can help make a difference too!!
Items needed include:
Pop Tabs
Tooth Brushes
Powder laundry detergent
Antibacterial wipes (Clorox, Lysol, etc.)
Swiffer Supplies (wet and dry floor cloths)
Disinfectant Spray
Dish soap
Dishwasher detergent
Paper products – toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, paper plates and bowls
Styrofoam cups (8 and 12 oz. sizes)
Plastic spoons and forks
Disposable gloves
Garbage bags (10, 13, 30 and 55 gallon sizes)
Cooking spray
Flour
Tuna
Breakfast cereals (small or large boxes)
Chips (individual bags)
Individually packaged snacks
Baking supplies – cookie, brownie, and cake mixes
Copy paper (8.5 x 11)
Colored copy paper
Batteries (AA, AAA and D)
Flashlights
…and we always need GIFT CARDS for home improvement stores (Lowe’s, Home Depot, etc.), Discount Department Stores (like Wal-Mart) and Office Supply Stores
