Spot bid sale is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., all contents will be sold together in one lot
FRANKFORT, Ky. (Aug. 11, 2016) – More than a thousand chairs along with hundreds of files, shelving, tables, partitions and more will be sold as surplus property from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 15 at the 200 Fair Oaks Building in Frankfort. Everything will be sold together in one lot.
Interested parties can walk through the four floors of furniture to determine the amount they want to bid for all of the contents.
Bids will be accepted from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at which time the high bidder will be announced. The bidder must pay in full at that time with cash, cashier’s or certified check made payable to the “Kentucky State Treasurer”. Personal checks will only be accepted with a bank letter of credit guaranteeing payment.

Recently several state agencies moved out of the converted bourbon warehouses at the complex located at Buffalo Trace Distillery. With the growth in worldwide bourbon sales, Buffalo Trace will reconvert the buildings to once again store bourbon.
