ACCV seeking entries for writing contest

Articles should be a personal narrative from the author focusing on “What I have learned through the pandemic.” Entries must be typed with a maximum of 1,000 words. Entries must be original, unpublished work of the person submitting the entry. Only Adair County residents may enter. Entries will not be returned and may be used by the Community Voice for promotional purposes. A winner will be selected in three categories: 9-12 years old, 13-18 years old, and 19 and up. All three winners will receive a $100 cash prize.

Winning entries will be published in the Dec. 30 edition of the Community Voice and posted at adairvoice.com. Send entries with the name, age, address and phone num- ber of author (add parents for minors) to snburton@adair- voice.com with subject line, “Writing Contest” or mail to Community Voice Writing Con- test, PO Box 159, Columbia, Ky. 42728. Deadline is Dec. 17.
