Adair County home engulfed in flames

The Breeding Area Volunteer Fire Department was called to a structure fire located at 544 Weed Sparksville Road on Monday, April 6 at approximately 5:54 a.m.

Upon arrival, the home was fully engulfed in flames.

The home is owned by Carol Murphy and was unoccupied at the time of the fire. Firefighters were on scene for approximately three hours. The cause for the fire is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal Office. Also responding to the scene were Adair County Sheriff Office Deputies Josh Durbin & Derek Padgett and Adair County EMS.
