An Adair County man was critically injured in a work-related accident in Henderson County.
Troy Ford, 41, of Columbia, was working along a ditch line on Monday when a 2,000-pound pipe broke loose. Ford was struck in the head and knocked into another piece of pipe.
Ford was airlifted to Evansville, Ind. where he is in critical condition. He is being treated for brain injuries and other possible internal injuries.
Ford was working on a pipeline project for Scott and Ritter, a Bowling Green construction company.
