The ACHS Boy's made a successful start to their 2012 Season today. The tribe traveled to Ky Hills Golf Course to take on Metcalfe County, Monroe County, and Warren East in their first match play of the season. The Indians posted a team score of 147 to best Metcalfe's 157, Warren East's 161, and Monroe Co.'s 167.

Alex Durham led the Indians with a terrific 2 under par round of 34. Riley Grant's (37) Daniel Rarey's and Trey Garmon's (38) and Austin Cundiff's (44) rounded out the scorecard for the Indians.

"We played extremely well today," said Coach Steve Burton. "Anytime you can place 4 golfers in the 30's you are going to be hard to beat. Alex's ball striking was outstanding. Alex proved today why he is considered to be one of the best golfers in the state by many. Riley, Daniel, and Trey also played great. The season is just getting started but it is great to come out of the gates playing the way we have."
