Carol Dee Coomer Johnson, 81, of Columbia, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Summit Manor Nursing Home. She was born on November 10, 1942 in Columbia to the late Arnold Jacob and Mary Christine Flatt Coomer. In addition to her parents, shew as preceded in death by her husband, Stariet Johnson; a daughter, Tina Johnson; and three siblings, Dwight, Betty Frances and Charles Thomas Coomer.
Carol was member of the Living by Faith Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She was survived by her brother, Doug Coomer (Joann) of Mt. Washington; a sister, Patsy Wilson (Bruce) of Columbia; and several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow, Friday, January 19, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Withers and Bro. Randy Camfield officiating and burial in the Sparksville Baptist Church Cemetery.
