Claristine Sparks, 88, formerly of the Gradyville community, died Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 11:38 P.M. at Signature Healthcare at Summit Manor
She was born December 3, 1929, in Adair County, to the late Elbert and Arletha Sneed Richard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; William Arbie Sparks on April 19, 2009 and a son; Larry Russell Sparks in infancy. She was a member of Gradyville Baptist Church and a former factory worker at Fruit of the Loom, Edmonton Manufacturing and Osh Kosh B’Gosh.
Survivors include:
One son – Jeffery and his wife Phyllis Sparks of Columbia
One daughter – Carolyn Sue Sparks of Columbia
Two grandchildren – Jason and his wife Leslie Sparks and Tabatha Sparks
One great-grandson – Jayden Sparks
One brother – Elwood Richard of Louisville
One sister – Zelma Sneed of Columbia
