Bring your lawn chairs and be prepared for a dramatic fireworks display on the 4th of July near the former fairgrounds on Fairgrounds St. in Columbia.
The display will begin at dusk and can be seen from the campus of Lindsey Wilson College, the Adair County Extension Office and nearby businesses.
The Adair County Fiscal Court, the City of Columbia and several local businesses fund the fireworks display which is presented by Casey Creek Pyrotechnics. 92.7 the Wave will play patriotic music during the display so everyone is encouraged to tune their radios to the station as fireworks are presented.
The Adair County Community Voice will show the fireworks on Facebook Live.
