Gerald Lee Knight, 50, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Monday, January 29, 2024, in Russell Springs, KY. He was born on February 9, 1973, in Greensburg, IN to Robert Lee Knight of Russell Springs, KY and the late Dorothy Irene Hammons Knight.
Mr. Knight was of the Christian faith and enjoyed watching bull riding, being outdoors, cooking and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his father he is survived by a daughter Kayla Jefferson (Justin) of Russell Springs, KY; a grandson Danny Allen “Tuff” Jefferson; his former wife Tina McQueary; step children Brook and Britney Sexton both of Campbellsville, KY, Bobby Trosper (Kele) of Barbourville, KY, Pam Del La Cruz (Mario) of Science Hill, KY, and Jessica Hargis (Ty) of Bronston, KY; three siblings Carol Jean Coppage (Ray) of Russell Springs, KY, Robert Knight (Rhonda) of Columbia, KY, and April Stephens of Russell Springs, KY; a step sister Susan Flatt of Russell Springs, KY; a step brother Patrick Emerson of Campbellsville, KY; a special friend Leigh Ann Murphy of Russell Springs, KY and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his stepmother Stella Knight.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Friday, February 2, 2024, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Owen Family Cemetery in Russell Springs, KY. Visitation will be after 10:00am Friday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
Bro. Avery Russell will be officiating, and pallbearers will be Eric Hatcher, Allen Webster, Justin Jefferson, Brad Hatcher, Bobby Trosper, and Robert Knight.
