EZEL, Ky. (September 11, 2023) –On September 10, 2023, Kentucky State Police (KSP), Morehead received a call for assistance from Morgan County Dispatch with a fatal collision. The collision occurred on KY 1010 near the Ezel community.
Through the investigation, Troopers determined that a 2000 Toyota Tacoma was being operated by Charles Perkins, 54 years of age from Ezel, KY. Mr. Perkins lost control of his vehicle causing him to leave the roadway and striking a tree. Mr. Perkins was pronounced deceased by Morgan County Coroner Casey Helton. KSP was assisted by Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, Morgan County Coroner’s Office, and Morgan County Fire and EMS. This collision remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police, Morehead.
