The Lindsey Wilson women’s tennis team had a pair of players place in the top 50 for singles and top 10 for doubles in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s NAIA Women’s Tennis National Rankings, as released on Friday.
Alicia Rodriguez retained her No. 3 ranking in singles, while Jessica King dropped 10 spots to No. 44.
Nour Abbes of Xavier (La.) held steady as the top-ranked singles player, and she is followed by Anastasia Baranova of Oklahoma Baptist.
King and Rodriguez also remained the second-ranked doubles tandem. Slotted ahead of Lindsey Wilson’s doubles pair are Oklahoma Baptist’s Baranova and Kateryna Shkot.
The Blue Raiders hold a 3-6 record this season, all of their losses coming against NCAA Division I opponents.
The next ITA NAIA women’s tennis rankings are scheduled to be announced on April 15.
