Paint the town blue to support Adair County band
Adair County residents and businesses are encouraged to paint the town "band" blue next week as the Adair County High School Marching Band heads to state competition on Satruday, Oct. 31.
Local businesses can participate by hanging blue signs and posters in storefront windows, decorating entrances with blue, or displaying messages of encouragement for the band. Residents can join in by putting up signs at home or finding other creative ways to show their support.
The students have worked hard throughout the season, and this is an opportunity for Adair County to rally behind them.
Let’s fill Columbia with blue and show the band that an entire community is cheering them on. Join the effort to paint the town blue and help send the Adair County Marching Band to state competition!
