Penny K. Pierce, 66, of Columbia, died Thursday, April 11, 2024 at the home of a daughter in Richmond.
She was born October 3, 1957 in Muncie, Indiana, to the late Mitchell and Irene Goodman Bell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, William and Dakota and one brother, Mickey Bell. Penny was a member of Green Hill Baptist Church in Monticello and a homemaker.
Survivors include three daughters, Brandy Baker Young of Russell Springs, Jessica DeMott (Terry Long) of Elk Horn and Jennifer Demott (Joseph Bauer) of Richmond; one brother, Ricky Bell of Somerset; she was Nana Head to seven grandchildren, Shawn, Chad, Hunter, Emily, Blake, Eli and Tate, six great-grandchildren and expecting two great-grandchildren very soon.
Services were held on Monday, April 15, 2024 at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home.
The family is honoring Penny’s wish to be cremated.
