On Sunday, Oct. 11, Adair County Deputy Ricky Shirley conducted a traffic stop on KY92 for a traffic violation. Following an investigation, Shirley arrested and charged two individuals.
Patricia Morrison of Columbia was charged with no registration plates, failure of an owner to maintain required insurance and first-degree, first-offense possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
Zachary Janes of Columbia was arrested on a parole board warrant.
Deputy Joey Keith assisted Shirley during the incident.
