Both escapees who walked away from the Adair County Class D Facility on Tuesday night, November 11, 2014 have been apprehended in Sumter County, Florida. At this time proper extradition paperwork is being sought to return these individuals to the Adair County Regional Jail. Chief Jason Cross Columbia Police Department Two inmates walked away for the Class D jail facility in Columbia Tuesday night. At press time, Jordan Luttrell, 20, of Liberty, and Thomas Wilson, 34, of Albany, were being sought after by law enforcement across Kentucky. Deputy jailers contacted Columbia dispatch that the two inmates were missing at 8:55 p.m. Tuesday. The Columbia City Police responded to the Class D facility, located at 23 Service Rd., just off Campbellsville Street. Jail employees were not sure when the two men walked away from the minimum-security facility, but noticed they were missing during a regular bed check. After reviewing video surveillance, police determined they fled on foot through the front door at 8:04 p.m. Police searched the area and contacted law enforcement in other counties, mainly focusing on the region where the two men had resided. After investigation, police believe the escapees were picked up in a white 2004 Chevrolet Cavaleir. Both men are white. Luttrell is 5 ft. 11 in height, weighs around 175 pounds, has brown hair, blue eyes and has a large scar on the right side of his head. He was last seen wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with blue jeans and tennis shoes. Wilson is 6 ft. tall, weighs 220 pounds, has brown hair and blue eyes, and has tattoos on both sides of his neck and both arms. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a dark colored t-shirt and work boots. Both men were both incarcerated on theft related charges and each had multiple years remaining on their sentences. The Columbia Police Department is asking for the public to keep a watchful eye out for these two escaped inmates and to call 270-384-4119 or 270-384-6464 with any information about the escapees.
