Police were called to 701 Old Pellyton East Road in Adair County Friday morning after a report that several people were in a yard with guns.
Sheriff Harrison Moss, Deputy Justin Cross, Chief Deputy Aaron Rainwater and Kentucky State Police responded to the house. A male subject located in a neighboring house told law enforcement that he had been shot at and fled there for safety. Police secured the scene where shots had been fired and discovered a firearm outside a residence with evidence that it had been fired.

A search warrant was obtained and a search resulted in the seizure of of methamphetamines, pills and marijuana. Several handguns, numerous shotguns and rifles were also seized.
Benjamin Shroyer, 38, of Columbia, was arrested on active warrants. Jeffrey Bryant, 34, of Columbia, was arrested on charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, burglary 3rd degree, trafficking in a controlled substance methamphetamines, and trafficking in marijuana less than five pounds. Kenny Webb II was also arrested on charges of wanton endangerment 1st degree, trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree methamphetamines, and trafficking in marijuana less than five pounds. All three were lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail. Deputy Justin Cross is investigating the case. More charges are likely pending.
