Jasmin Vricic, 36, of Louisville was arrested Feb. 27 on traffic and drug charges on Jamestown Street.
The Columbia Police Department was notified of a reckless driver heading into Columbia on Highway 55 South. Reportedly, the driver nearly made contact with oncoming motorists, and officers were able to stop the truck at Dollar General, before it could enter city limits.
Upon further investigation, and with the help of K9 unit Matt, Vricic was determined to be under the influence and taken into custody. Reports also showed the truck and trailer were stolen.
Vricic is facing multiple traffic and drug charges including DUI, felony charges of wanton endangerment in the first degree, receiving stolen property over $10,000, and receiving stolen property under $10,000 for possessing the truck and trailer.
