Deirdre Kay Redman, 70, of the Millerfield community in Adair County, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at her home after a short illness.
She was born on June 14, 1947 in Phoenix, Ariz. and was the daughter of the late William Owen.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son, John Strand.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Redman of Columbia; one step-daughter, Laura Russell and her husband Charles of Camby, Ind., four grandchildren, Steven Strand, Sara Strand, Keera Russell and Della Russell.
A host of other family and friends also survive.
Kay retired from the telecommunications industry where she worked as a data-testing technician. She had a love for animals and enjoyed spending time with her pets.
Family has chosen cremation.
