Jerry Karnes, 73, of the Cane Valley community, died Friday, May 15, 2020 at 12:08 P.M. at Norton HealthCare in Louisville.
He was born July 6, 1946, in Adair County, to the late James and Marie Risen Karnes, a member of Cane Valley Christian Church, a retired truck driver and farmer.

His wife – Janice DeSpain Karnes of Cane Valley
One son – Eric Karnes of Columbia
One daughter – Kim Grant of Columbia
Two sisters – Mary Sewell and her husband Bobby, Linda Daniels and her husband Lee all of Louisville
Two grandchildren – Hillary Karnes & Wyatt Grant

The graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Haven Hill Cemetery with Bro. Gary Welker officiating which may be viewed on his obituary at www.grissommartin.com
Burial followed the service
