Josephine “Joie” Willis, 85, passed away July 14, 2017. She was born August 15, 1931 to the late John and Mary Goodin of Columbia, KY. She was also preceded in death by a son Jeff and infant daughter Paula Jo. She is survived by son Mike (Shirley) Willis, son Jackie (Sheila) Willis and daughter-in-law Karen Willis. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren: David (Jennifer) Willis and children, Ethan, Owen, Austin and Elle. Heather (Bo) Dyer and children, Jordan, Jayden, Jaclynn (Tucker) and daughter Bay Lynn. Amy (John) Measel and children, Alexis and Loretta. Matthew (Jennie) Willis and children, Lillie and Hunter. Jessica (James) and children, Christopher, Shaylynn and Kaylee.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg, IL, from 9 am to 11 am. A graveside service will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Tallula, IL, with Pastor Terry Sims officiating. The family has requested that everyone who attends dresses casual.
