Lawrence Cladus “L.C.” Pickett, 90, of Edmonton, Ky, died on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2023 at 8:55 a.m. at T.J. Samson Community Hospital Emergency Room in Glasgow.

He was born December 10, 1932, in Adair County, to the late Felix and Vivian Pickett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Beatrice Meadows Pickett, and by his second wife, Janet Pickett, one son, Larry Pickett, one great-grandchild, Kali Pixkett, six brothers and four sisters.

L.C. was of the Baptist faith, retired from Sapp’s Bakery and worked at Phillips 66 both in Columbus, Ind.

Survivors Include: one son, James Tony Pickett and his wife Barbara of Edmonton; a daughter-in-law, Debbie Pickett of Columbus, Ind.; 10 grandchildren, Pete Pickett, Jamie Pickett, Joe Miller, Jeremy Pickett, Coleton Pickett, Amber Cox, Clint Pickett, Josh Pickett, Shelia Parker and Brandon Pickett, and 24 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be today, Jan. 26, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Edwards officiating. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9:00 a.m. Thursday.

Casket bearers are Pete Pickett, Jamie Pickett, Clint Pickett, Josh Pickett, Joe Miller and Coleton Pickett.
