Lula Asberry, 60, of the Pellyton community, passed away Monday, April 17, 2017 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.
She was the daughter of the late Estill and Dorothy Irene Taylor Asberry.
She was preceded in death by one son, Eddie Dewayne Pyles.
Lula is survived by one daughter, Lavina Michella Pyles of Columbia; one son, Scottie Dean Pyles of Columbia; five brothers, Emmitt Asberry of Liberty, Charlie Asberry of Russell Springs and Clinton Asberry of Columbia; four sisters, Shirley Roark of Russell Springs, Lillie Roard of Columbia, Minnie Sue Harrison of Columbia and Rebecca Brown of Columbia; and by four grandchildren, Kirsten Pyles, Makatelin Pyles, Scottie Dewayne Pyles and Willow Heseman.
Lula was employed by Amazon in Campbellsville and was a homemaker.
Funeral service is tomorrow at 11 a.m. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. David Asberry officiating with interment in Cold Springs Cemetery in Casey County.
Visitation is after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
