Corliss B. Gage, 98, of Mich., passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012.
He was born on Jan. 29, 1914 in Detroit, Michigan and was the son of the late Walter F. Gage and Ida French Robinson Gage.
He retired from Ford Motor Company and was a longtime volunteer of World Medical Relief in Detroit.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Elanor Bangert Gage, and by one son, David Gage.
He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Gage of Columbia; his niece, Gail Gage Fournier of Lansing, Mich.; his cousins, Margaret Smith of Michigan, Lloyd French of Columbia, Allen French of Florida and Edith Ellison of Nevada.
One great niece and great nephew also survive.
Corliss enjoyed crossword puzzles and drawing.
A memorial service will take place at a later date.
Manns-Ferguson Funeral Home in Michigan was in charge of funeral arrangements.
