Richard “Richie” Bennett, 38, of Columbia, died Sunday, March 26, 2017 as a result of an automobile accident in Columbia.
He was born on Aug. 5, 1978 in Louisville. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Bennett.
He was the lead cook at Lee’s Famous Recipe in Columbia.
He is survived by his mother and step father, Linda Harmon Eberhardt and Kevin Eberhardt of Columbia; one sister, Patty Bennett (Stacie Bennett) of Louisville; one daughter, Makayla Logsdon of Columbia, Mo.; and by one nephew, Alex Davis.
Several aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends also survive, including his special friends and coworkers at Lee’s Famous Recipe.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Expressions of sympathy are requested to St. Jude’s Children Research. These may be left at the funeral home.
