Rita Lee Berry, 49, of Columbia, passed away Monday, March 18, 2013 at University of Louisville Hospital.

She was born on Sept. 11, 1963 in Adair County.

She was a member of Cane Valley Christian Church, was a licensed certified nurse’s assistant, was a secretary for Travis Coomer Well Service and was an organ donor.

She was the granddaughter of the late Harel and Lucille “Nanny” Sparks Rogers and Will and Welthy Berry.

She is survived by her mother, Wanda Rogers Berry of Cane Valley; her father, Thomas Jr. (Linda) Berry of London; two children, Ray (Morgan) Rowe of Cane Valley and Kristy (Scotty) Foster of Columbia; one brother, Billy (Sherwin) Berry of Cane Valley; her fiance, Clayton Hadley, Jr., of Fairplay and his children, Hannah Marie (Derick) Redmon and Ryan Clayton Hadley; six grandchildren, Jynelle and Ryleigh Rowe, Christopher and Breanna Foster, Kylie Marie Miller and Peanut; two nieces, Katie Jeffries and Toni Berry; and by her “special” daughter, Tasha Hadley.

Several other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral service was Saturday, March 23 at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Ivan Tucker officiating with burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Casket bearers were Brandon Cornelison, David Foster, Cagney Burton, Mike Cook, Barry Petty and Thomas Long.

Honorary casket bearers were Jonathan Neat, Eric VanArsdale, Cameron Garmon, Charles Shirley, Kenny Buck Redmon, Curtis Grant and Mitchell Bault.
