On May 26, 2024 Adair County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a vehicle being stolen. The vehicle was a 2004 Toyota Highlander that was taken from a residential driveway.
On May 28, 2024, Deputy Chris Teeedy and Deputy Gary Roy located and recovered the vehicle on an off-road trail in southern Adair County. Through investigation, Deputy Chris Tweedy obtained an arrest warrant for 19-year-old Issac Turner.
Turner was arrested and lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail on charges of
- theft by unlawful taking/auto
- criminal mischief 1st degree
- theft of motor vehicle registration
Adair County Sheriff’s Office is continuing the investigation
