Alben D. Foley, 81, of Jamestown, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at his home. He was born in Jamestown on May 26, 1943 to the late Orpha (McGowan) and Velmer Foley.
Alben served in the U.S. Navy and owned a dental lab.
Survivors include his wife, Janet (Bradshaw) Foley of Jamestown; one daughter, Andrea Foley of Russell Springs; one son, Robert Foley of Russell Springs; three brothers, Gibson Foley (Patsy) of Jamestown, Harry Foley (Sandy) of Columbia and Ralph Foley (Mary Ann) of Nashville, Tenn.; and one granddaughter, Lindsey Foley.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Loretta Cook.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, September 6, 2024 at 6 p.m. at Jamestown United Methodist Church in Jamestown.
H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown was in charge of arrangements.
