The annual Adair County Book Fair hosted by the Genealogy Center was held this Saturday at the VFW Building in Columbia. The book fair is intended to help promote local authors. This year, there were around 20 vendors present.
The books present spanned multiple genres. Author Christopher Rowe offered science and speculative fiction. Russell Lunsford sold historical fiction and children’s books that he penned. Several authors provided Christian fiction or books on Christianity such as Doug Peterson. Local artist Serena Corbin sold prints of her creations. And a few authors and representatives with the Genealogy Center were present to showcase books of Adair County history.
