Jimmy MacArthur Loy, 63, of Columbia, passed away Wednesday October 7, 2026, at the Barren County Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Glasgow. He was born in Burkesville on December 21, 1962, to the late Freddie MacArthur and Lillie Mae Crawhorn Loy.
Mr. Loy was a retired truck driver and worked for Jimmy Reliford Drilling for many years. He attended New Life for the Nations Church. He loved his dog and cat and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Loy was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Schmidt Loy.
He is survived by his three children, Joshua Janes Loy of Point Blank, Texas, Nathan Scott Loy of Oklahoma, and Autumn Marie Loy of Texas; two grandchildren, Kristan Scott Hammons and Ivar Thomas Scott Blanton; three siblings, Lisa Neat (Rick) of Glensfork, Darlene Jessie (Wayne) of Edmonton, and Sheila Hunt (Russell) of Columbia; and two nieces, Rikki Michelle Pooler (Jacob) of Columbia and Isabelle Jessie (Adler Coccagna) of Glasgow.
In honoring Mr. Loy’s wishes the family chose cremation and no services are scheduled at this time.
