Mattie Lee Peterson, 88, of Breeding, died Thursday, September 14, 2023 at her home.
She was born September 20, 1934 in Sumter, South Carolina to the late Sarah Dupree. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by two children, Jerry Peterson Jr., and Angela Peterson.
Survivors include one son, Matthew Peterson of Atlanta; two daughters, Alma Jackson of Breeding and Lynn Neeley of Summer Shade; nine grandchildren; and a host of other friends and relatives.
Graveside services were held Friday, September 22, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at Collegedale Memorial Park in Collegedale, Tenn.
Grissom-Martin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
