Tom Andrew, 86, of Columbia, passed away Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016 at his home after several months illness.

He was born in Creelsboro on Jan. 21, 1930 and was the son of the late Adolphus and Allie Spencer Andrew.

Mr. Andrew was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Dolly Grant Andrew, on March 28, 2010. He was also survived by five brothers and five sisters.

He is survived by one daughter, Connie M. DeVore and her husband Lonnie of Columbia; one grandson, Nick DeVore of Columbia; and by one granddaughter, Nicole Legg and her husband Derek of Gradyville.

Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.

He was a member of Columbia First Church of the Nazarene, a U.S. Army Korean War veteran, a lifelong member of the Disabled American Veterans and was an electrician for many years.

Funeral service was Monday, Nov. 21 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Legg and Pastor Brian Fudge officiating with interment in Haven Hill Cemetery with full military honors presented by Columbia VFW Post 6097.
