Tommy Wayne Piercy, 39, of Campbellsville, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Taylor Regional Hospital emergency room in Campbellsville after several months illness.
He was born in Columbia on July 23, 1977 and was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Piercy, and by a nephew, Seth Aaron Eaton.
He is survived by his mother, Irma Dean Burton Piercy of Greensburg; his wife, Karen Turner Piercy of Campbellsville; one brother, Ricky Piercy of Tompkinsville; one niece, Sarah Eaton of Chapmanville, W. Va.; and by one great niece, Dallas Paige Eaton of Chapmanville, W. Va.
Wayne was employed by Reliable Masonry Company in Campbellsville as a brick mason. He was of the Baptist faith.
A graveside service was held Saturday, April 8 at Concord Cemetery in Columbia with Rev. Clifton Cowan officiating.
Pallbearers were Don Burton, Robbie Burton, Jackie Goodin, Mark Smith, Darrell Turner and Jimmy Tarter.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements.
