Judy Carol Johnson, 56, of Richmond, passed away Friday, Dec. 28, 2012 at her residence.
She was born on Jan. 11, 1956, in Taylor County and was the daughter of the late Roy Johnson and Ruth Hortense Diddle Johnson, of Columbia, who survives.
She professed her hope in Christ at an early age and joined Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Wilie and Rosie Johnson; her maternal grandparents, Bruce Diddle and Suzie Johnson; and by four aunts and two uncles.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sisters, Jane Johnson of Richmond, and Sharon (Vince) Willis of Columbia; two nieces, Trevia Johnson and Deshana Woolridge; two nephews, Shawn Johnson and Ethan Woolridge; three uncles, George Junior Johnson of Campbellsville, Oatha Johnson of Columbus, Ohio and Charlie Junior Caldwell of Greensburg; and by one aunt, Dolores Ray of Indianapolis, Ind.
Three great nieces, three great nephews and several other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral service was Monday, Dec. 31 at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with David Mitchell officiating with burial in Green County Memory Gardens in Summersville.
Casket bearers were Shawn Johnson, Ethan Woolridge, David Johnson, Denny Anderson, Vince Willis and Jason Crume.
