Nada Jean Sanders, 85, of Casey Creek, died Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Christian Healthcare in Bowling Green.
She was born August 15, 1938 in Jefferson County to the late Gilbert and Iva Tilley Goode. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Esel Sanders; her son, Craig Sanders; and a daughter, Shera Sanders. She was a member of Knifley Christian Church, worked in various post offices and was a homemaker.
Survivors include three daughters, Melaine Sanders Grant of Casey Creek, Pam Nieman of Stanford and LeNora Sanders Peger of Brownsville; nine grandchildren, Mandy Bohanan (Tim), Matthew Grant (Shianne), MacKenzie Grant, Allison King (Michelle), Austin Judd (Sarah), Abby Sanders, Kody Peger (Sarahi), Jacob Peger and Karrington Peger; six great-grandchildren; several nieces; nephews; cousins and friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 22, 2024 at Knifley Christian Church with Bro. Steve Martin officiating and burial in Roley Cemetery.
Casket bearers were Matthew Grant, MacKenzie Grant, Austin Jud, Jacob Peger, Kody Peger and Tim Bohanan.
Honorary casket bearers were his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Tim Sanders, Charles Sanders, Byron Sanders, Jeffrey Abell, Larry Scott and members of the Knifley Christian Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to Roley Cemetery or White Mills Christian Camp, which can be left at the funeral home.
