Everyone is encouraged to sign up for the 6th annual “Paint The Town” which is scheduled on Thursday, July 25 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. on the public square.
Paint The Town is an annual event in which people are assigned a section of sidewalk to paint around the square. This year, the city is planning on having the square closed so people can walk around and visit the various displays. There will be free popcorn, popsicles, and other items for children. The Columbia-Adair County Fire Department, Ambulance Service and the Columbia Police Department will be setup.
