Laveda Taylor

Laveda Taylor, 97, of Cane Valley, died Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 3:00 a.m. at Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab in Campbellsville, Kentucky.

She was born October 4, 1926 in Adair County, to the late Joe Henry and Audrey Gertrude Farris Bennett.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Max Taylor on April 4, 2014 and her brother, Paul Bennett. 

She was a member of Cane Valley Christian Church and retired from Fruit of the Loom.

Survivors include three sons, Jerry (Connie) Taylor of Tucson, Arizona, Kenny (Ava) Taylor of Versailles, Clifton (Jennifer) Taylor of Cane Valley; two sisters, Lois Banks and Jeanette Page; six grandchildren, Morgan (Patrick) Gabehart, Cayela (Anthony) Blankenship, Cameron (Emily) Taylor, Liles (Robin) Taylor, Rhett (Becca) Taylor, Audrey (Evan) Cione; 14 great-grandchildren, Jameson, Ceaton, Lauren, Conleigh, Ashlyn, James Ava, Jolee, Clark, Bennett, Adler, Reid, Cole, Claire, Harrison; and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Sunday, September 15, 2024 at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Martin officiating and burial in Cane Valley Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to Cane Valley Christian Church which can be left at the funeral home.

Casket Bearers were Cameron Taylor, Liles Taylor, Patrick Gabehart, Anthony Blankenship, Ceaton Blankenship and James Turner.
