William Truman Tweedy, 78, of Shepherdsville, KY was born on November 4, 1945 in Columbia and departed this life on Friday, September 13, 2024 in Louisville.
Mr. Tweedy had made a profession of faith in Christ. He was a Line worker for GE for many years and served in the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Lillian Tweedy; one step-son, Tracy Bale and wife Pam of Summersville; five grandchildren, Shelbi Bale of Bowling Green, Gage Bale and Grace Bale of Summersville, Natalia Warren of Campbellsville, and Kelsey Wood of Walton; six great-grandchildren, Ryland, Kase, Hadley, Ty, Rae Lynn, and James; and two sisters.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with Bro. Daniel Marcum officiating and burial in Wilson Cemetery.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take form of donations to the Wilson Cemetery, which can be made at the funeral home.
